Rang Jaipur was created on the conviction that there was a need for a vehicle to market India's rich and diverse craft traditions, hence assisting in the provision and maintenance of jobs. To deliver appealing and economical products to today's consumers, we combine indigenous artisan skills with contemporary designs.

Our goal is to supply clients with handcrafted items that promote and support good craftsmanship.
Rang Jaipur works closely with artisans by providing various inputs including design, quality control, access to raw materials and production coordination.

 

The vision continues to be to maximize the handmade element in our products, whether it is handwoven textiles, hand block printing, hand embroidery or handcrafting home products.

Block printing is a centuries-old textile practice in India. Block-printed cloth has been discovered dating back to 2000BC. Due to the dedicated efforts of companies like Rang Jaipur, this traditional heritage has been preserved in communities across Rajasthan. A set of blocks can print 1500-2000 metres of cloth on average.

 

Printing colours are made from benign chemical, mineral, and vegetable sources. To meet today's washing and colourfast standards, chemical dyes have supplanted vegetable pigments. Block printing provides a stable source of income for local households, and Rang Jaipur is committed to keeping this ancient knowledge alive and well.
